BAM completes 'The Strip'

The Strip is the name of the complex recently completed by a consortium including BAM Utiliteitsbouw on the Philips High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.

Beneath a curved roof three hundred metres long are five separate buildings together forming a multifunctional meeting point in the heart of the campus. Philips staff gather here for conferences, product presentations or merely to take lunch and do some shopping. A feature of the design is the transparency of the buildings. They are all different lengths but exactly 36 metres front to back. The Strip, with its landscaped boulevards and water features, will be the showpiece of the High Tech Campus.
